Ingredients
  • 2 ½ cups C&H® Granulated Sugar, Easy Baking Tub

  • 1 gallon Water, divided
  • 1 pound Fresh strawberries, clean and stems removed and cut in half
  • 2 ½ cups Freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • Fresh strawberries and lemon slices as garnish
  • Fresh mint, as garnish
  • Ice

Instructions
Prep Time: 10 minutes / Cook Time: 5 minutes / Yields: 1 gallon
Step 1

In a small saucepan, over medium heat, stir together the sugar and 3 cups of water. Cook, stirring occasionally, until all the sugar dissolves. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature.

Step 2

In a blender, process the strawberries until smooth. Strain through a fine mesh sieve. Set aside. 

Step 3

In a large pitcher, 1-gallon capacity, combine the simple syrup, strawberry puree, and lemon juice. Stir. Add ice and garnishes. Serve immediately.
